Raising awareness of language needs in youth justice

Triangle are proud to of had one of our intermediaries, Mai Yasuhara, invited to take part at a University College London (UCL) event.

The event took place in July of 2025, with the aim to raise awareness and explore the vital but often overlooked role of language and communication in the youth justice system. The event was eye-opening and inspiring for all.

Triangle have always stood to reposition children and young people with communication differences as competent communicators and active agents in their own lives, and our intermediary service provides trained professionals to those that need help breaking down communication barriers sometimes encountered in a justice system run by adults.
